Beautiful package in the mail – handmade rocks!

Good Morning! It’s a tad cold here this morning (cold for Northern rivers that is) so i am on my 2nd cup of coffee while i catch up on overnight facebook and pinterest happenings (yes – its a sad life isn’t it – but i hate missing stuff – and admitting i have a problem is the first step is it not?!)

Recently i was part of Yes Dear’s give and take - you can see the blog post about my give here. Last week i received this delicious package from Helen in Canberra.

I thought i would share a blog post as i have found a new love.  Mikaela. This is the gorgeous handmade shop that my brooch came from – she has so many stunning products and a beautiful blog too. Sorry the photo of it isn’t great but Mikaela has an online shop  so you can check out her goodies for yourself! This is what the give and take was all about – sharing the love and supporting handmade. Handmade rocks!

The softie monster was made by Helen herself – love the fabric and so cute! My littlest fella LOVES it. The scarf is awesome – beautiful colour and so soft!

I have worn the scarf and brooch out twice already and had many comments – think i’ll wear it again tonight as i have a date night with hubby for our 9yrs anniversary!

Ok – well i’d better face reality – shopping, washing, dispute mediation, cleaning and hopefully some sewing!
