Shipping Policy
At this stage, we are only able to sell and ship items within Australia.
Orders of $150 and above will receive free shipping!!! Plus we randomly have special days where orders above only $80 will receive shipping for free. We call them "Free Freight Fridays"! Subscribe to our newsletter to receive advanced notice of these!
For all orders we offer a choice of flat-rate shipping/postage or standard Australia Post rates. Customers have the option of choosing the cheapest postage option for any order!
Flat rates are as follows:
$6 Flat Rate Postage - for standard Parcel Post/Freight
$8 Flat Rate Insured/Traceable Postage - for Registered/Insured and Traceable Shipping
For customers in the Newcastle Region, we offer a pick-up/drop-off shipping option. This option is only available to people within the Newcastle region. Once customers choose this option, they will be contacted to organise an agreed time and place for the pick up. If you live outside the Newcastle area and you have accidentally chosen this option, you will be contacted to organise an alternative shipping method.
We use a combination of Australia Post and Fastway Couriers for our shipping. We decide which shipping method is use for each parcel. For Australia Post shipping, we offer standard Parcel Post as well as Express Post. Shipping costs can be viewed in the Shopping Cart by clicking on the "Estimate Shipping" button. You enter your postcode and the shipping charges will be displayed for a number of different types of shipping options. You choose which shipping option you want to use during the process of checking out.
The standard Australia Post charges do not include services such as Registered Post or Express Post. These services incur a further charge. While it is very rare for items to get “lost in transit”, it still CAN happen. We therefore recommend you choose to use the Registered/Insured and Tracable Shipping options in the checkout as Cloth ‘n’ Craft will not be held responsible should items unfortunately go missing in the post. It is your decision however.
All purchases will be shipped on the closest shipping day to payment clearing. We have increased our shipping days from two to THREE shipping days per week! Our current shipping days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Customers will receive email confirmation when their item has been shipped. Please note: If payment clears after 7pm of the evening prior to a shipping day, the purchase will be shipped on the following shipping day.
Returns Policy
We may accept returns at our discretion, provided they are still in their original condition (ie unused and unwashed with undamaged original packaging) for up to 30 days after the shipping date. Return shipping costs where a customer has changed their mind regarding a purchase will not be refunded. If you wish to return a product, just send an email to: returns@clothncraft.com.au.
If an item is to be returned for the purpose of exchange (for a different size for example) the shipping of the returned and replacement items is at the expense of the customer.
Please be aware that we cannot offer refunds for products that are returned due to improper care or natural wear and tear.
If you discover that an item you have purchased from Cloth ‘n’ Craft is faulty, please email us at: faults@clothncraft.com.au and provide a description of the fault, the invoice number from the purchase receipt and the date of purchase. We provide a 40 day quality guarantee on all our homemade products.
If a homemade product proves to be faulty within 40 days of the shipping date, we will cover the cost of return postage. As some homemade items are one-off items, a replacement may sometimes be difficult or even impossible. Depending on the fault, an item may be mended or replaced with a similar item if an idential item is not available. This will be decided upon on a case by case basis through negotiation with the customer. Return shipping charges will be at the expense of Cloth 'n' Craft.
Professionally manufactured items have their own guarantees. If a professionally manufactured product proves to be faulty within the manufacturers warranty period, Cloth 'n' Craft will arrange a replacement. Cloth 'n' Craft will also cover the costs of return postage for the faulty item and the shipping charges for the replacement item.
Do not return an item without first contacting us.
Our number one priority is customer satisfaction and will therefore try to do all we can, within reason, to resolve any issue that may arise in regards to product quality and workmanship.
