Layby Policy
We understand that many people like to be able to work towards large purchases using a layby system. Setting oneself up with a large enough stash of modern cloth nappies, for example, can be costly to outlay all at once, and many families do not have that sort of available cash lying around. We are therefore very pleased to offer layby as a convenient way for you to spread the cost of your purchase out over regular, smaller payments.
Our terms and conditions of entering into a layby agreement are as follows:
Layby is currently only offered through direct deposit payment method. To choose to layby an order, customers choose the "Layby via Direct Deposit" payment option upon checkout.
A $20 deposit is required for all lay-by purchases.
All laybys must be completed within 3 months. If a layby is not completed within 3 months, the customer will be contacted regarding completing the payments within the following week or the order will be cancelled and monies paid will be refunded, minus the $20 deposit.
Customers may choose to make payments off the layby simply by depositing money into the Cloth 'n' Craft account using the account details supplied in the Order Confirmation email. Customers MUST include the order number as the customer reference in the deposit or money will not be credited towards your layby.
If a customer wishes to change an order, that is possible, and the $20 deposit initially paid can be used to secure the new layby order.
On completion of a layby, orders will be sent in one shipment on the closest shipping day to the final payment being made.
