Customer Service Policy
While customer service is very important to us, please be aware that this business is run from home, around the responsibilities of home-life. There may be the odd occasion when work will have to take a back foot because of the needs of the family. If this is ever the case, customers who may experience slight delays in correspondence or shipping will be informed of such, as soon as possible.
Payment Policy
Our preferred method of payment is Direct Deposit, as we receive additional charges when other methods of payment are used.
Reward Points/Store Credit Policy
We have recently made changes to our system for our loyalty points/store credit system. With our Rewards Points program, customers who pay for their order via direct deposit (including laybys) receive reward points with their order. These points entitle the customers to 1% of the total of each order they make being added to their account as store credit. Reward points/store credit are awarded once orders are shipped. Store credit can be redeemed on any purchases. It can even be saved up and accumulated over a number or purchases to effectively get something for free! You are only able to earn Rewards points/store credit on purchases made on products from the online store, however store credit is redeemed off the total of an order so can be used to pay for either products or shipping costs. Customers can check the balance of their store credit by simply going to the webpage and logging in. A box will be displayed on the left hand side of every page giving the balance of their Reward points. These rewards points are the number of cents available to them as store credit. Store credit is not redeemable for cash or transferable to any other person or business.
GST Policy
All professionally manufactured items sold through Cloth ‘n’ Craft include 10% GST in the price. Some items sold through Cloth ‘n’ Craft are sold on a “by consignment” basis for individuals who are not registered for GST, thus their items are sold GST free. The commissions that are charged to these individuals DO include GST but this is payable by these individuals, not customers. All invoices include GST and individual items are labeled as to whether GST is charged or not.
Sold Out/Out of Stock Policy
From time to time, some products may be temporarily unavailable. Customers are able to purchase items that are temporarily unavailable but will be contacted by email and informed when the item should be back in stock. Generally, customers can decide whether they wish to hold their order until the item is in stock and receive all items posted in one shipment OR split the order and receive the in-stock items first and receive the other items in a separate shipment. No extra charges apply. However, if "out of stock" products are purchased while on special or during a sale, Cloth 'n' Craft reserves the right to hold the order and post in one shipment If "out of stock" products are purchased while the price is reduced/on sale, there will be no increase in price when the stock comes in. The price paid when ordered is the price paid and no more.
If a product is a one-off and is not automatically going to be back in stock, it will be listed as “Sold Out”. If a customer really wants an item that is listed as “Sold Out”, they can register/log in and place the item in their wishlist. Customers can then forward their wishlist to Cloth ‘n’ Craft. Cloth ‘n’ Craft will then contact the customer via email to discuss the availability of another identical or similar item and how long it will be before another item is available.
